June 21, 2012 was a special day for huggers, kissers, movers and shakers everywhere, including those of us in the CPP camp. We celebrated PDAs and Nivea-inspired smooth, soft skin, in a cross-country lovefest, participating in two summer love-themed Nivea events in New York City and Los Angeles.
Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Ne-Yo kicked off the warm ‘n fuzzies during a performance in New York’s Herald Square, at a ‘Coffee & Cuddle’ morning date event hosted by Wendy Williams, and Nivea ambassadors Bill and Giuliana Rancic. Ne-Yo’s performance was celebrated not only by those enjoying pastries, coffee, hand lotion and Nivea’s kissing booth (filled with life-sized ‘Sweet Heart’s and all!), but a long line of loyal fans along the perimeter of the barricade as well.
Not to be outdone by an East coast morning, the CPP & the Nivea team jetted to Los Angeles for a second Ne-Yo performance that same night at The Grove. Ne-Yo performed love-inspired classics like “Sexy Love” and “Closer”, as well as ever-popular hits like “Give Me Everything” and “Let’s Go”, to keep the energy and loving vibe in the crowd up.
And after a whirlwind day, CPP’s Ronnie Stephenson met the rest of our team, directly off of a bi-coastal red eye flight, on site for an all day event with the Turn 2 Foundation the very next day. I’ll say one thing – at least we’re not boring!
